Q. How does the Shallow Draft vessels cost compare with other maritime equipment of similar capabilities? A. The ShallowDraft Model vessels are available at about 1/2 the cost of a typical liftboat and certainly less than a tug and barge combination but can do so much more. Q. Where are your vessels manufactured? A. The ShallowDraft manufacturing facility is located in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. Our location gives us access to the U.S. Interstate Highway systems, Rail systems, the Mississippi River, the Intracoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico. Our state of the art facility enables us to maintain our fleet of 15 liftboats in ready for work condition at all times. Q. What type of equipment can be used on the deck of a ShallowDraft Elevating Boat? A. Our vessels are easily and safely outfitted with Cranes, Derricks, Excavators, Man Lifts, Drag Lines, Drilling Rigs, Generators, Dredges, Probing Units, Sandblasting, Welding, and Painting Rigs. Q. How safe is the ShallowDraft Elevating Boat? A. Safety is our # 1 priority. Steel handrails surround the work area. The raised wooden deck provides a work surace free of obstacles and promotes cooling. Our record is unblemished with zero personnel accidents in 15 years. |
